Skills for repairing such cameras are becoming rarer each day, and fewer young people are willing to enter into the mechanical camera repair trade anymore.

Mr Philip Tay has been a camera repair technician since age 18, having worked for Rollei Germany / Singapore & Shriro, he rose from the rank of junior technician to Chief Technician for Nikon & Hasselbald service centres.

Today, Mr Tay runs his own camera repair business, his main motivation is helping customers to resuscitate the classic cameras that were passed down by the previous generations. So that these wonderful tools can see light again and re-live their glorious years. Mr Tay has vast experience in servicing most classical cameras & lenses and master in Nikon, Rollei, Hasselbald, Voigtlander & Leica cameras .
